Servants of Christ
We serve because Christ served us and called us to love and action for the poor and oppressed, the orphaned and widowed. At Redeemer, we care about renewal on all levels, which means we care about how the Gospel informs personal, societal and global change. To that end, we seek to help bring about those changes in a variety of ways throughout our community, our city, our country and the ends of the earth.
English Language Outreach
Redeemer offers a vibrant and thriving English as a Second Language (ESL) outreach for non-native speakers throughout our area. Classes run throughout the school year and provide non-native speakers a welcoming atmosphere to sharpen their language skills and be exposed to the Gospel, which is the first time for many of them! Serving Our Community
Redeemer's commitment to our community also includes a monthly community prayer network combating the spread of heroin abuse in the area, and we also support the work of our local fire and police departments through the chaplaincy program. During the Christmas Season, we invite the community to come celebrate the reason for the season in our "Christmas for the Nations" event.
Our City
Redeemer enjoys a rich partnership with River of Life Church in Over the Rhine, which allows us to be a part of bringing neighbors together throughout Greater Cincinnati. Redeemer also was a founding church behind the Mosaix Network, with which we are still actively involved and which provides an outlet for discussing pressing issues in our broader community, especially as it relates to the multi-ethnic movement and to matters of justice and reconciliation.
Our Country
Reaching beyond our city boundaries, we partner with New City Fellowship in St. Louis to support their involvement with the widow and those in poverty through participation in their Work Day program. We are also members of the New City Network, which facilitates church planting among the poor.
The World
We also have the joy of coming together in partnership with various ministries, including Back2Back ministries, and the work they are doing in various countries around the world to serve the orphaned and needy. We also are actively involved in Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan's Purse each year and provide generous donations to missionaries around the world.
